The mortgage industry is flourishing. Low interest rates and migration out of population centers mean more people are looking for homes, which means more people are looking for mortgage loans. In some cases, it may make sense to use a fronting carrier where an admitted company is required. In other cases where an admitted carrier is required, a business can reduce premiums by increasing its deductible, and the captive can write a deductible reimbursement policy.
